In 2013, Kennecott Copper Mine recorded the largest mining landslide in history, and perhaps the largest non-volcanic landslide in North America. The existing visitor center was completely destroyed along with several service vehicles.
Working alongside an ad agency and Kennecott, I helped create the replacement displays you see below. We were tasked not only with creating bold, high-impact graphics, but to create durable displays that could withstand the harsh, abrasive climate of the pit mine.
